EmiClare TCF
Technical Background
EmiClare TCF is formed of "protective coating/Ag-alloy/protective layer" on PET film substrate, using an advanced sputtering method--creating one continuous layer with an in-plane uniformity structure. The Ag coating is preserved but effective between its protective layers. As a result, EmiClare TCF achieves both a high level of transparency and a high level of conductivity.
Optical Filters offers [product name] in low resistance options of 4 or 12 ohms, on a robust and flexible PET base film. The conductive coating can be etched patterned and is available from stock in rolls, sheets, custom cut, or integrated into an assembly.

Properties
EmiClare TCF is durable and flexible, as well as having a high storage reliability and heat stability.
The Ag-stacked film also has a high solar radiation reflectivity, enabling it to achieve a superior heat shielding effect.
With above average EMI shielding attenuation, EmiClare TCF is ideal for incorporation into assemblies having certain Electromagnetic Compatibility requirements.
Unlike other transparent conductive films, no heat treatment is necessary to increase crystallinity before the product is used. And compared to the discontinued ITO film, the EmiClare has significantly reduced discoloration over time due to its strong resistance to oxidation.
The smoothness and continuity of the film's structure results in low haze values along with extremely high transparency, producing exceptional optical clarity. EmiClare TCF can match the light transmission levels of ITO films while at the same time attaining a resistance level 1/10 that of the ITO.
Additionally, indium, which is the main material of ITO films, is a rare metal without a stable and inexpensive supply, posing a risk for companies. But demand for transparent conductive films is only rising, making transparent electrode material alternatives to ITO—like EmiClare TCF—increasingly essential.
Applications
Applications of the film in optical stacks and assemblies include touchscreens, transparent antennae, glass privacy screens, membrane switch panels, etc. EmiClare TCF's properties warrant its utilization in situations that require EMI/RFI shielding, IR heat rejection, and certain energy field areas, including solar cells and Zero Energy Houses/Buildings.
Optical Filters' EmiClare fulfills multiple technical requirements simultaneously, qualifying it for use in a wide variety of challenging applications. Without compromising, EmiClare TCF's extensively provides solutions for situations demanding exceptional optical performance and excellent protection.
